Our competitor registration numbers are well below the minimum to award pro cards within any division this year. As a promoter, this is an extremely difficult decision. As a former competitor, I know this comes as a disappointment as I understand the time and effort it takes to prepare for a show. However, in keeping the competitor experience mind, we know moving forward with the show will result in a below average experience. After speaking with all the registered competitors, they agreed and appreciated the opportunity to provide input during our decision making. However, we will not quit and are working diligently on plans for our event in Spring

During my prep, however, I struggled to find help and information about competing, so I set out on a journey to offer quality help to fellow competitors. When it came to signing up for a show, curling my hair, putting on my makeup, getting dazzled with my jewelry, and posing, I was on point! However, when it came to my training, cardio, nutrition, and happiness, things were a little more of a disastrous, hot mess.
Bikini boxing promoter obtains license for Oklahoma City event
A Nebraska-based promoter will introduce bikini boxing to Oklahoma City after obtaining a license from the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission. The state agency, which regulates boxing, kickboxing and wrestling events in Oklahoma had sought a court order to halt the upcoming Oklahoma City bikini boxing event. In its lawsuit, the commission claimed the original event would run afoul of state laws designed protect the health and safety of boxing participants.
